Ayşe Övür was born in Istanbul in 1971. Her family has roots in Rumelia and the Caucasus. Övür received her education in Classical Archaeology at Istanbul University and completed her master’s degree in the Department of Ancient History at the same university. She has been involved in various excavation and research projects and has published articles on topics related to ancient history and archaeology.
