Born in Istanbul in 1974, she started drawing before she could talk. Despite studying engineering, her passion for art never faded. After years in engineering, she returned to drawing, becoming a sought-after illustrator for top Turkish publishers. She’s known for her work in children’s magazines and books, and has authored popular series for kids and young adults. Beyond her creative work, she’s involved in promoting children’s literature and supports social projects. When not illustrating, she enjoys nature, art, and music with her family—her husband, son, and three cats.
