She was born in Istanbul in 1986. She studied Communication Design, Literature, Italian Language
and Literature. She participated in Ege University Museum of Painters and Books of the Children’s
World, 50th Bratislava Illustration Biennial and exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Her silent book
“When I Leave Home” was awarded second place in the 17th Tudem Literature Awards Picture Book
Competition and published by Uçanbalık Publications. Between 2019-2020, she was the editor of the
children’s page of Cumhuriyet daily newspaper book magazine. Her articles on children’s literature
continue to be published in Sanat Kritik and İyi Kitap. Since 2011, she has been illustrating children’s
books, editing the literary magazine Sözcükler and working as a freelance translator.
