Şebnem İşigüzel, born in 1973 and studied anthropology. Her first book, Hanene Ay Doğacak (The Future Looks Bright), was published in 1993 and awarded the Yunus Nadi Short Story Prize. Şebnem İşigüzel is living in Istanbul and she is still working on her own novels.
