Burcu Ünsal Çeküç was born in 1989 in Istanbul. She graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Translation and Interpreting Studies. In 2011 she started working as an editor at Redhouse (SEV Publishing). She contributed to over a hundred children’s books during her career as a children’s book editor. Her first book, which is the first title of Gizli Kapı series, was published in 2010. Since then, she has been writing books for children. Since 2020, she has been working as a literary agent of children’s book authors and illustrators at Kalem Agency.
